Confirmation
Information for 10th Graders
We
have been notified by the Bishop's office that Confirmation is
scheduled for Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 12:00 pm and on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. Biship William E. Lori will be presiding at both ceremonies.
Please
make note of the following events prior to the ceremony:
- Sunday,
September 28 - Confirmation
Brunch, 11:30 a.m., Continental Manor in Norwalk (An
invitation will be forthcoming. We hope
all Confirmation Candidates and their
parents will be able to join us for this celebration.)
- Wednesday, October 15 -
Confirmation Retreat, 7:30-9:00 pm, OLF Church (This Retreat is for all Confirmation candidates and their parents - presented by Mary Ronan.)
- Monday, October 27 - Penance Service
for all Confirmation Candidates, 7:00 p.m., OLF Church
- Thursday, October 30 – Rehearsal in the OLF Church (Confirmation Candidates
only.) Times: 6:00 - 7:00 pm for the November 1st ceremony
and 7:00 - 8:00 pm for the November 2nd ceremony.
NOTE: On
Saturday, November 1st, sponsors should be in their assigned seats
no later than 11:30 am in the Church and candidates will assemble in the
OLF School Gym at 11:15 am to be questioned by the Bishop.
Afterwards, they will move to the Church.
On Sunday, November 2nd, sponsors should be in their assigned
seats by 11:30 am in the Church and candidates will assemble
in the OLF School Gym at 11:15 am to be questioned by the Bishop.
Afterwards, they will move to the Church.
